God with Us - Emmanuel

Image
The year of pandemic discouraged us with in and we decided not to organize Christmas program at our Little Transformers Club. But God spoke to our hearts and we were able to successfully organize Christmas celebration on December 20 th , 2020. Here is our story of How God worked in our lives and ministry. As soon as we decided to conduct the program, we received overwhelming response from our friends, family and prayer partners. We were able to cover the complete budget within 4 days. “God with us – Emmanuel” – An amazing realization of God’s presence and blessings in our mission journey Our Promise 2021: The Lord Himself will do this is the promise we received in this Christmas season. It was important for us to realize that Miracles in our mission journey comes not through human effort but rather through relying on God to act and bless. This was the reason Christ came. God gave us this child, named  Emmanuel , which literally means, “with us is God,” or “ God with us .”

Letting go & Looking ahead

Image
This year has been a wait – undefined, unexpected and unending. Everyday was a lock down in heart, life and mission. It was challenge in all aspects of life; losing close family & friends to the pandemic was the most disturbing days we ever went through. However in this season of Christmas, we realize the importance of “Letting it go & continue looking ahead”. A season of double blessing and promising future. This year, we gathered together and decided not conduct or organize any Christmas program for the children due to pandemic. It was the most difficult decision we ever made but our hearts were longing to bless our children. Whenever we met the children, they were asking when the program will be and it was very difficult for us to explain the situation. As the days passed by, a strong message was riding in our hearts to rethink and plan for the Christmas program for our Little Transformers Children. We re-decided  to conduct the program and planned to raise Rs. 250 for

Restart - Life & Project

The year 2020 was a year of setbacks, struggles and slow paced because of the pandemic. In the month of March 2020, after securing our children with an awareness program on Covid- 19, we closed our Little Transformers Club project as the state shut the doors of every institution and public gatherings. The past seven months were a time of great grief and struggle for all the families in the village.  “Most of our LTC children’s parents work in the towns as laborers, as the businesses closed, they returned home without work and the family struggled for their daily existence”.  With the help of God and kind support of our family and friends, we were able to continuously help them with dry rations until they got back on their feet. The seven months were challenging but we were  able to experience the reality of God’s love, power and wisdom in our lives. We realize every second given by God is a precious gift. The promises of God added our little walls of faith into a fortress. God taught

Finding Hope in Death & Grief

Image
Our Precious Team  The month of September is been dreadful and it’s death news all around. We have at-least 30 individuals (Family, Friends and dear ones) who are affected by the pandemic and are under quarantine. Sadly, we lost five members (family & friends) for Covid-19 this month. A good friend of mine; lost his mom and father-in-law within a span of two days. My student and brother in Christ lost his life in Covid. He was very young, just 24 years old, leaving behind his wife who was 3 months pregnant. No words could express the situation that both the families went through. While I was speaking to them, I realized no matter how unexpected or unpredictable the situation is when death occurs, it shakes us to the core and the pain is inescapable. The month of September was a tough journey for both of us. We constantly are praying and comforting all the families who were under treatment and care. Presently, our family member (Jeba’s cousin sister’s father-in-law is in ventila

Gift of Life

Through this blog, we want all of you to know how thankful we are for God’s faithfulness, protection and blessing during this unprecedented pandemic. He kept us safe, provided all our needs and helped us endure through these darkest hours. Even yesterday, we lost one of our relative (Jeba’s Uncle) due to Covid-19. It was tough for both of us but God is our comfort. Though there is sadness and suffering around, we still thank the Lord for the “Gift of life”.   Recently, as I was reading the Bible, God was powerfully speaking to me from the Book of Exodus.  The story of Israelite's : G od was with them; while they were oppressed with forced labor; God was with them while the midwives were ordered by the king to kill all the male babies in birth.   Before they were  led out of Egypt, they witnessed one of p owerful move of God where His hand protected them through the plagues. Over and Over again the people of God encountered God’s faithfulness and they walked throu

Due to this Covid-19 pandemic, everything around is a chaos, suffering a nd uncertainty. Last month, it was scarier because we started hearing news about our neighbors, close friends and their family members being affected by Covid-19 and few of their de at hs shook our hearts with fear and sadness. Psalm 46:10  He says, "Be still, and know that I am God; I will be exalted among the nations, I will be exalted in the earth." “The LORD will fight for you;  you need only to be still”. Exodus 14:14 These were the promise words that kept ringing in our hearts and in our daily life. It encouraged us to comfort our friends and their family through His word. On the other hand, t he country is dealing with high  number of Covid Cases  and is running out of hospital beds and ventilators. The country has crossed over 2.2 million cases, resulting in over 44,386 deaths in the country. For the past one month, we are moving forward to help children and families in whatever ways we can

His endless love

“For the mountains may depart and the hills be removed, but my steadfast love shall not depart from you, and my covenant of peace shall not be removed,” says the Lord, who has compassion on you”. Isaiah 54:10   The country is presently witnessing a rapid growth in number of Covid-19 cases, we have crossed over 7.5 lakhs cases in the country. According to Times Now “Covid cases in India rose by 26,500 on Thursday, setting a daily record. Total Coronavirus cases in India is now 7,93,802 and 21,604 people have died due to the virus. The government continues to maintain there is no community spread yet”. For the past one month, we are doing what we can to help the community that we live in by providing rations to the needy and unemployed, teaching children and helping the older generation for their medical needs. Thus experiencing and sharing His endless love in the darkest days. LIFE BOAT PROJECT Through Life Boat Project, this month we were able to provide rations to 0
