Pressing On

Image
Thank you for praying, supporting and journeying with us in this mission field. We as a family have been immensely blessed through your continuous support, we are ever grateful. Due to pandemic and high restrictions, it is been months that our Little Transformers Club have been closed and we are not able to gather the children in the project. The government has strictly told us that only when the schools reopen officially will we be able to restart our project and help the children. On the other hand, kindly pray for the village head (who was helping us and our children club location is at his home),  we heard that during this lock down, he was arrested by the police for money laundering but now he is back home; while the case is still on him. In this situation, we are now afraid to restart the project at his home. Kindly pray that we will be able to make a wise decision and move in the right direction; thus not affecting the mission and ministry in that particular village. “Do n

Pandemic – devastating Second Wave

“Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me; thy rod and thy staff they comfort me” - Psalms 23: 4 The month of May is been a month of several death’s and rapid Covid-19 cases rising up in the country. It is a community spread now! The people are under complete panic and in great distress. In the last 24 hours, India has recorded 3,66,161 fresh cases and over 3754 people have lost their lives to the pandemic. A complete chaos through the country and I have personally lost count of how many people whom I know have lost their lives in the past two weeks. Each day, the numbers are going high and hospitals are filling up rapidly. There is a huge shortage of oxygen in the country; Covid patients are dying gasping for breath in the corridors and parking lots of the hospitals.   We closed the Little Transformers Club and other ministerial activities on April 25 th 2021, as the numbers of Covid cases in our town was rising st

A Complete Month - Overwhelming Happiness

Image
The month of March had been an absolute blessing for us as well as for the children in the Little Transformers Club. We had regular classes for the children throughout the month. We thank all the prayer partners and supporters for standing with us in this journey. “In everything, do to others what you would have them do to you.” – Mathew 7:12.  This was the theme of the month for the children, helping them to learn the importance of sharing their love for another in every walk of life. We had all our sessions, classes and other activities revolving around the theme. It was great fun! Special Sessions: We arranged two special sessions arranged for the kids during the month. ·        Dr. John Titus Emmanuel spent a day with the kids sharing about the importance of health, hygiene and how to prevent oneself from Covid-19. He also shared about the importance of learning new skills and other things in life. There was lot of activities specially planned for the day that helped the

Beyond Barriers – Boldly forward

Image
The month of February was a month of overcoming barriers and move boldly forward. We realized life can not only be filled with excitement and new possibilities but also have setbacks and struggles. Often our mission activities have felt more like a desert than a place of abundant progress and growth. Though it is like walking through the desert that leaves us dried up, thirsty and parched. The important lesson we learn is “God is with us all along the way” and the experience teaches us many lessons like building and rooting our faith deeply in Him. Psalm 34:18  says “The LORD is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit.” And Jesus himself endured the ultimate pain for us so we can be assured that God never leaves us alone. As believers, we have this source of comfort in our pain: God is with us”. Last month, our Little Transformers Club project experienced a sudden barrier (where the village head was unhappy suddenly) but God helped us to talk to him

Barriers in Mission

Image
The month of January has been a challenging month. Every time we take a step forward in missions; unfortunately we are being pushed back two steps. We both were discouraged the whole month and we thought to give up and move on from our children project (Little Transformers Club). Our four years of hard work and field visit came to a halt when the local village head (who was supporting us throughout these years) said that they are irritated with the children visiting their home for classes because they were noisy and are also disturbing. It broke our heart so much. We were very sad to hear the complaint and did not know how to respond and make them understand. Hence, we came home, prayed about it and left it in God’s hand. For the past two days, we have given break to the children and will be meeting the family once again tomorrow to talk to them. We are hoping that we will help them to understand the importance of the project in their village and how this initiative will transfo

God with Us - Emmanuel

Image
The year of pandemic discouraged us with in and we decided not to organize Christmas program at our Little Transformers Club. But God spoke to our hearts and we were able to successfully organize Christmas celebration on December 20 th , 2020. Here is our story of How God worked in our lives and ministry. As soon as we decided to conduct the program, we received overwhelming response from our friends, family and prayer partners. We were able to cover the complete budget within 4 days. “God with us – Emmanuel” – An amazing realization of God’s presence and blessings in our mission journey Our Promise 2021: The Lord Himself will do this is the promise we received in this Christmas season. It was important for us to realize that Miracles in our mission journey comes not through human effort but rather through relying on God to act and bless. This was the reason Christ came. God gave us this child, named  Emmanuel , which literally means, “with us is God,” or “ God with us .”

Letting go & Looking ahead

Image
This year has been a wait – undefined, unexpected and unending. Everyday was a lock down in heart, life and mission. It was challenge in all aspects of life; losing close family & friends to the pandemic was the most disturbing days we ever went through. However in this season of Christmas, we realize the importance of “Letting it go & continue looking ahead”. A season of double blessing and promising future. This year, we gathered together and decided not conduct or organize any Christmas program for the children due to pandemic. It was the most difficult decision we ever made but our hearts were longing to bless our children. Whenever we met the children, they were asking when the program will be and it was very difficult for us to explain the situation. As the days passed by, a strong message was riding in our hearts to rethink and plan for the Christmas program for our Little Transformers Children. We re-decided  to conduct the program and planned to raise Rs. 250 for
