Pandemic – devastating Second Wave

“Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me; thy rod and thy staff they comfort me” - Psalms 23: 4

The month of May is been a month of several death’s and rapid Covid-19 cases rising up in the country. It is a community spread now! The people are under complete panic and in great distress. In the last 24 hours, India has recorded 3,66,161 fresh cases and over 3754 people have lost their lives to the pandemic.

A complete chaos through the country and I have personally lost count of how many people whom I know have lost their lives in the past two weeks. Each day, the numbers are going high and hospitals are filling up rapidly. There is a huge shortage of oxygen in the country; Covid patients are dying gasping for breath in the corridors and parking lots of the hospitals. 

We closed the Little Transformers Club and other ministerial activities on April 25th 2021, as the numbers of Covid cases in our town was rising steadily. Children were given instructions to stay home and be safe.   

Covid Positive:

On May 14th 2021, Jeba was tested positive and was home quarantined. It was scary and troublesome beginning, she had regular fever, body pain and breathing trouble. All the hospitals were full and we had to stay home and get her treated. We informed all our prayer partners to pray and intercede for her. God healed her slowly and she was able to recover after 15 days of medication and treatment. We thank all the prayer partners and friends who supported us and prayed for us. We bless you all in Jesus name. 

Our government has announced complete lockdown in the state with only essential needs to be opened. So the ministries and other activities are been stopped but we constantly call all our children and other friends to pray and help them in whatever we can. Kindly keep all our children and their families in your prayers. 

Prayer Request:


Pray for Ps Beera Chanti (family) and the complete family (His Mother, all his brothers, sister and all the children are positive) – they need our fervent prayer for healing and recovery.Pray for Sis. Rani (Our Church believer), presently in hospital battling for life due to Covid – Kindly pray for her speedy recovery. 


Pray for Mr Adhisaya (a family friend), tested positive – home quarantined – Kindly pray for his speedy recovery.

Pray for Sis Swetha (a family member), married and have a three month old baby is presently in ICU battling for life with oxygen level less than 82% - Kindly pray that she will recover and healed. 

Pray for Prakash Babu (Close Friend) and his family (His mother, brother in law and sister in law) all have tested positive, he already lost his uncle and grand-mother to covid. The whole family needs our prayer and Lord’s protection.

Pray for Keerthi Charles and his mother Mrs. Madhu (family), they got just discharged from hospital and recovering from home. They need our prayer for strength and recovery.

Pray for Betty Elizabeth (family), she is just tested positive and needs God’s protection over her life. Kindly pray for recovery.

Finding Hope in Death & Grief

Our Precious Team  The month of September is been dreadful and it’s death news all around. We have at-least 30 individuals (Family, Friends and dear ones) who are affected by the pandemic and are under quarantine. Sadly, we lost five members (family & friends) for Covid-19 this month. A good friend of mine; lost his mom and father-in-law within a span of two days. My student and brother in Christ lost his life in Covid. He was very young, just 24 years old, leaving behind his wife who was 3 months pregnant. No words could express the situation that both the families went through. While I was speaking to them, I realized no matter how unexpected or unpredictable the situation is when death occurs, it shakes us to the core and the pain is inescapable. The month of September was a tough journey for both of us. We constantly are praying and comforting all the families who were under treatment and care.
