JUST A START; MILES TO GO

This is our first blog ever in our life; through this blog we are excited to share our vision and ministry journey with all of you.

Our beginning: From the year 2008, after our theological studies we began serving the Lord in different capacities with various mission organizations in India. For the next nine years in missions, the Lord took us through an unforgettable mission journey in north India helping us to learn and work with children, teens, and women in India.  

Specific Call: In the year 2017, we prayed and moved to a remote village as independent missionaries in Krishnagiri, Tamil Nadu, India. The Lord is been good to us and He is leading us to do ministry with children and teens in Tamil Nadu.

First Step: For the past three months, we are ministering to children in three remote villages in Krishnagiri. We and few volunteers from our local church travel as teams every week to these villages to conduct life skill sessions, action songs, Bible stories and games. Presently, we are directly ministering to over 130 kids.

On the other hand, we are surveying the area understanding the background and needs of the children who are attending our children program. Through this program, we are also bridging a relationship with the village elders to understand our aims of helping the children in their village.

Presently, the program is not organized under a system nor it is systematized under any syllabus. This is because we are spending more time developing relationship with children and their parents in order for them trust us and come forward in helping us in starting up a project center in their village.

Children Club: Our vision is to start children club in these three villages. It would be an after school program, whereby the children would visit the project center and learn a new idea or concept or skill through our trainers. They also will be enrolled as a club member whereby they will be given free medical care, educational support, school materials and career support.

Volunteering for an local NGO

Other Mission Activities: we are also volunteering with small mission organization’s that works with tribal children, orphan children and HIV affected children in India. We freely organize various fund raising events, seminars, mission conferences, mission trips and also offer professional services like filing accounts, website building, introducing ethical administrative systems and policies to organizations that are smaller and can’t hire professionals.
