The Power of Now - The Present

Each day is a present, we as a family is enjoying the walk with the Lord. Life is challenging; however we know the trails we create through the treacherous mountain would one day become a pathway for someone to reach God.

We have always believed; that whatever good or bad may come our way the Lord is there to make it meaningful and transform it into something valuable. We thank you for standing with us in prayers. We sense your prayer support each day of our lives. We know nothing can stop us in achieving our dreams.

Month of September was time of both ups and down; we both were sick for few days and our laptop fell from the table shattering into pieces. Hanni was voluntarily helping an organization in filing their accounts the whole work was lost due to the crash. We both were totally discouraged but the Lord helped us to redo the work together within a week and submit back in time. It was a miracle because it was three months work (one year accounts) completed within a week. Praise God.

Regular Ministries and Volunteer projects:

Sunday School Snapshot
Sunday School: Jeba was able to take regular Sunday school in the villages. For September, we organized coloring Sunday and Sports Sunday. It was really a blast, the children enjoyed their time. We were able to meet new children from neighboring villages attending our program.

English Classes for Teens: In the month of September, we could only conduct three hour teaching session for our teens. As our teens were busy preparing for their quarterly exams. Coming month, we would start again regular English classes for our teens.

Youth Meeting: Every Monday, all the youths of our local church visit a family in our village for fellowship, prayer and blessing. It will be a time of Prayer, Sharing, Bible study and witnessing Christ to one another.

Volunteer meet @ our residence
The Children & Teen Club: Our first Volunteers Meet

On 23rd September 2017, we had our first volunteer meeting at our residence. It was a time of fellowship, sharing and praying. The Lord blessed us with 12 volunteers for the meeting. We were able to discuss the basis of starting this project and everyone shared their ideas.

Few planned highlights for your notice

Aim: A holistic project for learning to live, give and grow.

Agenda: Children & Teens should come to the project expecting what we can learn, what we can contribute or give and how we can grow to become a responsible citizen.

For: Children from every background (Social, economical, religious and cultural)

Training: Special Training Module and Curriculum for creative teaching and special subjects.

Remember us in your fervent prayers, as we thrive to systematically arrange and start this project next year. This year, we would be concentrating on registration of the project, preparing training module, subjects and its curriculum, fund raising, project implementation planner and registration of volunteers and staffs. As we are in a remote village, it is difficult to get right individuals for the project.

Our September Joy and Thanksgiving!

We were blessed to host our first informal Children and Teen Club volunteers meeting at our residence; we praise Him.

We are blessed to be part of our sweet friend’s wedding “Danny and Santhiya”. We praise God for uniting them in Christ.

Our village received good rain this year, we are happy that the villagers can do good farming.

Pray for Us

For our mission journey, it is a beginning; our first step; sometimes we are confused and lost, pray for His continuous leading.

For our granny, she is completely bedridden and lost her memories. We ask of God’s will in her life.

Thank you so much all of you for praying for our mission journey. Please do comment and sent us your response. It would encourage us to continue in our mission field.

With love,

Hanni &Jeba

  1. Please continue writing - it's great to know what God is doing through you two! I'm impressed with your attitude about the laptop. I'm afraid I would become angry, then depressed. :) You are inspirational to others. Thank you.
