Month of January turned out to be a month of praying, reviewing (both for personal and ministry), preparing, planning, regrouping, serving and meeting for the way we should go about this year. We realized when you fall in love with something, you don’t feel it like a work rather you it becomes a driving force within.

When we follow our heart (with God in it), things happen automatically and we tend to produce the best (our thoughts, vision & mission). On the other hand, following your heart will help you to work natural and exciting to do. We can feel the energy flowing within and if someone motivates us it becomes an added bonus for us.  Thank you all for being our extra bonus.

Mission Updates – JANUARY 2019

Sunday School Ministry: Our ministry with children is going great. Every Sunday, we both with few volunteers travel over 12 kms to remote villages to teach them Bible Stories, Action Songs, Praying with the kids, Bible Study (Older kids) and also to build relationship with them to understand them better.

It is a challenge, because the children thinking patterns are completely different; for example it revolves around caste (Caste: one of the hereditary social classes in Hinduism that restrict the occupation of their members and their association with the members of other castes)

Few of the children from the higher strata of the society are not willing to attend Sunday School or our Spoken English Classes because we are conducting in a house where the family is from other caste. Presently, we are talking to the village heads to help us in finding a space in the local government school for taking English Classes at-least.  

Spoken English Classes: Although all these months, we were conducting English lessons, it was more random and did not follow a pattern. From January 2019, we decided to make it more serious and formulated a syllabus for the course. 22 children and teens joined as a first batch and are regularly attending the classes. It will be six months basic course and we will promote them to advanced classes after passing a small exam.


Youth Meeting: Every Monday, all the youths of our local church visit a family in our village for fellowship, prayer and blessing. It will be a time of Prayer, Sharing, Bible study and witnessing Christ to one another

CHILDREN RETREAT - 2019

On February 24th 2019, we have planned for Children Retreat in Krishnagiri; bringing at-least 170 kids from five remote villages and giving them an experience of lifetime. This Retreat will help us to relate, understand and work more closely with the kids; ultimately helping us to start a Children Club by June this year.

These kids have never experienced such an event in their entire life. We are blessed to have a Children and Teens Ministry Team from Bangalore ministering to these kids. They will be arriving a day before and ministering to our volunteers (Youths) as well.

We are going to have one full day of Galla and Celebration Time. There would be Action Songs, Fun Games, Bible Stories, Skits, Puppet Show, Elmoes, Delicious Food and Snacks.

We are hiring an auditorium, Sound System, Food for over 250 members, Transportation of kids, Volunteers etc. The Budget is huge and we seek the Lord for his provisions.

“For the body is not one member, but many…” I Corinthians 12: 14

I strongly believe it is not our vision but all of us. When we work together, we can double the strength and get much more done as one by establishing God’s will in the mission field.

It is not easy and we believe the Lord will work this out for us. Keep us in prayers!

Pray for Us

Starting a Children Club in this village this year is our real focus. This Children Retreat will definitely help us to understand and relate to kids more closely. We know arranging this program for over 250 people is not going to be easy but with God in our side we move out strongly to experience and bless the kids.

Pray for wisdom and strength for both of us; helping us to envision the journey and walk boldly towards it.

Our beginning: From the year 2008, after our theological studies we began serving the Lord in different capacities with various mission organizations in India. Finding Hope in Death & Grief

Our Precious Team  The month of September is been dreadful and it’s death news all around. We have at-least 30 individuals (Family, Friends and dear ones) who are affected by the pandemic and are under quarantine. Sadly, we lost five members (family & friends) for Covid-19 this month. A good friend of mine; lost his mom and father-in-law within a span of two days. My student and brother in Christ lost his life in Covid. He was very young, just 24 years old, leaving behind his wife who was 3 months pregnant. No words could express the situation that both the families went through. While I was speaking to them, I realized no matter how unexpected or unpredictable the situation is when death occurs, it shakes us to the core and the pain is inescapable. The month of September was a tough journey for both of us. We constantly are praying and comforting all the families who were under treatment and care.
