Happy Children @ the Retreat
It has been an amazing month for us; we reaped in 100’s of fold in blessings. Thank you all of you for your amazing support and prayers; the children retreat was a great success.

As the song says “Count your blessings, name them one by one and it will surprise you what the Lord has done”; yes it is very true, it will throw you back to realize and see the miraculous hand of God in your life. We both were overwhelmed and could not hold our tears back. This successful event would be our greatest driving force within and to stand in faith to achieve bigger things in our mission journey.

CHildren REtreat – feb 2019

The Lord is good! The event was a great success! We had over 140 kids and 90 parents attending this retreat. It was really a celebration time.

Not an easy start:

Funds: As we were planning for the children retreat, we needed to raise funds for the program. It was difficult for us to approach people for supporting; we have not done any sort of fund raising before. However, our mentors encouraged to talk to people about it and share the vision.

 The Lord was good; we were able to raise the required funds before the children retreat. Many friends and family came forward to support the cause. It was an overwhelming experience. Thank you for standing with us.

Ministry Team: The day before the Children Retreat, half of the team members from Bangalore were caught in the air-show accident and their participation in the program became a question. By God’s grace, the team and the vehicle was safe and they were able to come on-time for the program. All these confusions tested our faith but it was a great learning and to stand firm in knowing that He is in control.

Day of Celebration: On February 24th 2019, we were able to bring in 140 children from 5 remote villages. The children had a great time of enjoying worship session, action songs, skit, elmo special, puppet show, games and much more.

Kavita (name changed for security reasons) said “Thank you anna (brother) and akka (sister) for arranging this program for us. This is my first time attending a retreat and it was a great time. I will surely pray for you to conduct this program for us every year” 

The children after the program came around and thanked all of us for arranging a special day for them. Our success could not have been achieved without your help. Again, we are grateful and offer you our sincere love and thanks.
  
Elango (name changed for security reasons) said “Anna, why did you arrange this big program for us? I know it is not easy for you and akka to arrange this program but I know you love us so much. Thank you!”

We don’t know how to express all the feelings that went through our hearts when we saw the children enjoying the retreat and having a great time. Each child who came for the program is precious; it was a day of celebration and blessing. We bless all of you who stood with us and ministered this children through your support and prayers.

New Plans: Need of Prayers!
Puppet Time

We are planning to register the ministry (Government Procedure) we are doing in the villages; this is because we are been constantly questioned by government officials to take the required license to work with the kids. Please pray for us, as this is going to be another milestone to achieve. We are in need of strong advisors, mentors and funds during this registration. Our prayers and plans are to register the ministry in the month of April 2019.

Elmo Special
After registering, we are planning to start “Children Club” in one of the villages and reach them out with the power of the Gospel. It is going to be a daily project for children, where the children will come to learn, grow and reach other kids.

JUST A START; MILES TO GO This is our first blog ever in our life; through this blog we are excited to share our vision and ministry journey with all of you. Our beginning: From the year 2008, after our theological studies we began serving the Lord in different capacities with various mission organizations in India.
