Our Christmas Story

Through this blog, we love to wish all our family, friends, prayer partners and supporters; our heartfelt wishes “Merry Christmas & Happy New Year 2020”. May this year bring joy, peace and abounding providence to all. We love you and thank you wholeheartedly for journeying with us in this mission journey.

Christmas Celebration (Walking through Miracles): We walked through miracles each and every day in the month of December. The Lord is good and he brought right people in our lives to help about 75 children in and through our Little Transformers Club.

Christmas Dance
It was our first Christmas Celebration under Little Transformers Children Club. The plan was to conduct Christmas Program in the village by bringing in all the villagers and sharing the Good News through Christmas programs performed by their own children. The children were excited to perform dance, sing Christmas songs, skits, read scripture and also receive gifts.

Excited kids with their Gifts
We needed lot of funds to organize the program and bless the children with Christmas gifts. We gathered our volunteers and prayed for new door to opens. We shared our vision to our friends and family; the Lord blessed us every day with new partners to bless our kids with gifts. We continued to pray for the Lord to send right individuals to sponsor for program arrangements and food for the community.

The whole month, every day we traveled to the villages to meet the children and give them practice for the programs. There were lot of ups and downs but the Lord was good and provided everything on time.

Sharing the Good News
As we planned, on December 25th 2018; we were able to successfully organize Christmas Outreach programs in the village. At the right time, the Lord brought people from the same village to sponsor the program tent and lunch for children and the villagers. We praised God and were blessed to walk through miracles.

Little Hema says “Thank you anna and akka for blessing us with the gifts and also helping us to perform before our parents. We are proud to show our talents to our family”.

Villagers and Children
The people in the village are staunch followers of Hindu faith; worshipping numerous gods and goddesses. On the other hand, they face caste (a social status or a hereditary classes of Hindu society, distinguished by relative degrees of ritual purity or pollution and of social status) based issues, drug addiction and unemployment among youths and poverty.

Govindappa says “We thank you for conducting such programs in our village. Most of the children are into bad habits and away from school. Your involvement will sure transform our children to better ways and bright future”.

Prayer Request:

·   Pray for the construction of our children club, it is taking time because of lack of funds. The house owner is trying is level best to finish it by the end of this month January 2020. Though we dreamed of starting our project in the new space from this New Year; we are staying strong in Him that it will happen in due time.

·       We also praying for raising monthly supporters for the project. As we are helping the children in daily basis. We are planning to provide quality teachers and counselors to minister the kids.

·       Pray and Support Us!

We know the journey is not going to be easy, we need people who can volunteer and they are resourceful for our kids.

Pray for wisdom and strength for both of us; helping us to envision the journey and walk boldly towards it.
