Laced with Grace

Children back from Vacation
The month of January 2020 was a time of preparation and planning for the ministries in our village. Though at different stages it was challenging time, Jesus helped us to stay focused in Him and overcome all the difficulties through prayer. We thank you all for praying and supporting us in this mission journey.

During our Christmas Program, the schools declared vacation for the children. Hence, we let the children go and enjoy their vacation with their parents and relatives. Most of the children visited their native places and spent time with their parents and family.

Our Preparation of Study Material
During this vacation, we as a team could plan and set out small curriculum for the next few months. We spent time together preparing study chart, scrap books, study materials and game activities.

We reopened our Children Transformers Club in the second week of the January 2020. The children were so excited to come back and share with us interesting stories that happened during their vacation. It was a great time to see their happiness and we welcomed them back wholeheartedly.

During Christmas Program, we gifted all the children with stationery, writing pad, drawing and painting kit. For most of the children this is the first time they ever got a drawing book and coloring kit. They were so excited to share about how they used the gift for drawing and painting during their vacation. Few of them brought beautiful drawings and gifted us back. We were in tears! We bless all the supporters for helping us to experience such an amazing love from the children.

Our Little Transformers Club Space: The elder (Villager) who has given us a place in his house; is constructing a hall for our children project on the top of his house. Due to financial issues, he has put the construction in hold. Continue to pray for God’s providence and we are looking forward to use the space at the earliest.

Our Bridge Project: “This project is exclusively designed to work along-side with government school/children in India. The project aims to bring the dropped children back to school by addressing to their problems and needs. The project will also help the government school children to receive or teach the latest educational resources that are exclusively available only to the children in the cities.”

Bridge Project at a government school
From January we restarted our work with government school children in our district. For the past six months, we were teaching them phonetics and how to read English through blending words. Now, we are so happy to see them reading English and the singing English songs. The principal of the school requested us to continue the support and teach their children.

Thank you once again all of you.

Pray and Support Us!

We know the journey is not going to be easy, we need people who can volunteer and they are resourceful for our kids.

Pray for wisdom and strength for both of us; helping us to envision the journey and walk boldly towards it.

Thank you so much for joining us in praying for our mission journey. Please do comment and send us your response. It will encourage us greatly.
