The Exodus - India needs your Prayers!

Taken from the Govt Website - This explains the severity of the Crisis
“And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away” - Revelation 21:4

The month of May was so tough for each one of us. The globe is witnessing a mass death due to the pandemic and we trust the Lord that He will help us to withstand the crisis and this will also pass away.

In India, Covid – 19 pandemic brought a mass exodus of migrants back to their own rural village. With most modes of transport shutdown many have been forced to walk hundreds of kilometers with their children to reach their homes. The migrants with their small children are walking back home without food and water.

Blessed  to meet this travelers.
Every day a new story emerges, a single migrant mother travelling from Gujarat to Orissa was found dead in a railway station, where two of her children playing around her not knowing she is already dead. A girl rode her bicycle for over 1400 kms to bring her disabled father back to her home safely. The country is in complete chaos and this exodus is worse than the 1947 partition between India and Pakistan.

As the situation worsening, the government has lifted lockdown recently and the Covid-19 cases are rising very fast. The life ventilators are not available for all the people; especially for the poor it is a rare facility. Government hospitals are in short of hospital beds and due to poor coordination by the authorities, people are dying even before their test results. Media is reporting that Covid patients are lying next to dead bodies and kidney patients who need dialysis every week are failing to get their treatments.

The nation needs your continuous prayer, we are helping as much as families we can through our life boat project. We need to stand together in helping one another in this global danger. We believe the world will heal and restore itself.

LIFE BOAT PROJECT

Through Life Boat Project, this month we were able to provide ration to 15 families and also help the migrants with food and water.

Challenging Story: We came to know about a family of three who were caught in the Covid red zone. Though they were not affected by Covid, they were not able to come out because the whole area where they lived were completed quarantined for three months. The family struggled with one time food and their debts (rent) were piling up because of no work.  We came to know about them through a friend and the Lord helped us to reach them with the necessary rations and other financial help to settle their debts. The whole family was in tears, as they explained that they were about to commit suicide and we reached them with help on time.

Presently, they are out of the quarantine zone and the family has found a job to survive. Continue to pray for them as we minister to them.

Prayer Request:

·       Please pray for migrant workers who have taken up decision to walk back home and are on the way with their children. Pray that they will get help and reach home safely.

·       Pray for our Life Boat initiatives in helping these migrants workers by providing  rations and other necessary needs so that they do not take the decision of walking back to their own state.

·       Pray for our Little Transformation Club project building, it is still under construction and needs over 1 lakh rupees to complete. We are planning to inaugurate the building in the month of July 2020 for children.

Pray and Support Us!

Pray for wisdom and strength for both of us; helping us envision the journey and walk boldly towards it.
