Be still - You are never alone

Little Transformers Club Logo - Brand New

Due to this Covid-19 pandemic, everything around is a chaos, suffering and uncertainty. Last month, it was scarier because we started hearing news about our neighbors, close friends and their family members being affected by Covid-19 and few of their deaths shook our hearts with fear and sadness.

Psalm 46:10 He says, "Be still, and know that I am God; I will be exalted among the nations, I will be exalted in the earth." “The LORD will fight for you; you need only to be still”. Exodus 14:14

These were the promise words that kept ringing in our hearts and in our daily life. It encouraged us to comfort our friends and their family through His word. On the other hand, the country is dealing with high number of Covid Cases and is running out of hospital beds and ventilators. The country has crossed over 2.2 million cases, resulting in over 44,386 deaths in the country.

For the past one month, we are moving forward to help children and families in whatever ways we can. We have started English classes in our own house for children from the neighborhood. We are carefully dealing it by only allowing 6 children per session. We provided them face mask, study materials, worksheets, and we give them sanitizers to clean their hands after every session. The Lord is also helping us to meet new teenagers who have just completed their schooling and are striving to get into college. We are helping them to identify their line of interest and select right course to achieve their career goal.

Recently, when we both sat down together and analyzed our present situation, growth and ministry activities; we realized that “no matter how scary the world and our future feels, we are never alone because Christ is with us and He has overcome the world (John 16:33)”. Thus experiencing “His presence and Being Still for we know He is with us”.

LIFE BOAT PROJECT

Through Life Boat Project, this month we were able to provide rations for 02 families. We are looking forward to help more families but we are presently running out of provisions but God is helping us to do what we can through our project. We request you to continue to pray for more supporters to rise up voluntarily and help us to bless more families.

LITTLE TRANSFORMERS CLUB:

We visit our children at-least once every week, as the pandemic situation is escalating, we are not able to travel and meet them very often. We believe by this year end, we will be able to get back to normal life and start the project for our children.

Last month, God helped us to finalize the club logo and we are presently working with the project presentation through an animation video. Thank you all for the praying for this project, we believe God is helping us to understand the importance of “Being Still and knowing that He is enough and all powerful”.

NATION IN DISTRESS:

There are massive issues (natural calamities) going on in the nation.

  • The state of Assam, Kerala and Mumbai are affected by floods.
  • Landslides killed over 80 people in Munnar, Kerala.
  • Mumbai city is completely submerged in water and many people have lost their life and belongings.
  •  45% of the people have lost their jobs in India. Their families are struggling to meet their daily needs.

The Nation needs our prayers and support. Lets together stand in the gap and intercede for the nation’s recovery from all possible calamities.

Prayer Request:

  1. Pray for the Covid-19 pandemic situation in the country. Pray that God will heal our world and bless our nation.
  2. Pray for our Little Transformation Club project building, it is still under construction and the work has come to a standstill due to no funds. We strongly believe the Lord will help us in due time.
  3. Pray for our nation, may God comfort each one of them suffering during this time.

Pray and Support Us!

Pray for wisdom and strength for both of us; helping us to envision the journey and walk boldly towards it.

Thank you so much for joining us in praying for our mission journey. Please do comment and send us your response. It will encourage us greatly.

With love,

Hanni & Jeba
