Finding Hope in Death & Grief

Our Precious Team
The month of September is been dreadful and it’s death news all around. We have at-least 30 individuals (Family, Friends and dear ones) who are affected by the pandemic and are under quarantine. Sadly, we lost five members (family & friends) for Covid-19 this month.

A good friend of mine; lost his mom and father-in-law within a span of two days. My student and brother in Christ lost his life in Covid. He was very young, just 24 years old, leaving behind his wife who was 3 months pregnant. No words could express the situation that both the families went through. While I was speaking to them, I realized no matter how unexpected or unpredictable the situation is when death occurs, it shakes us to the core and the pain is inescapable.

The month of September was a tough journey for both of us. We constantly are praying and comforting all the families who were under treatment and care. Presently, our family member (Jeba’s cousin sister’s father-in-law is in ventilator due to Covid), he is a pastor and faithfully served the Lord for several years in Tamil Nadu.

As I said earlier, now the pandemic is becoming personal. Nothing is more shocking, emotional, or final than the death of a loved one. Finding Hope in the midst of death & grief is one of most challenging experiences one can ever face. Even in the midst of this chaotic situation, as the Bible says in (2 Corinthians 1:3) we are running to God for comfort because He is our only hope & comforter.

Keep all of us in your prayer!

Mission Update:

We continue to help children in our neighborhood with every day classes for English, Bible Stories and other skill based activities. We intentionally gather only fewer children (not more than 5 at a time) for the classes. We also spend more time in gathering more data and ideas to work with children in the coming months.

LITTLE TRANSFORMERS CLUB:

Our Kids from Project
We are continuing to visit once a week to our project center in the village. Our government is yet to give permission to run the project due to pandemic. Construction is slowly moving forward with only flooring, electrical and door have to be fixed. The funds are a major concern but the Lord is helping us through.

Thank you all for the praying for this project, we believe God will help us to complete the project construction and setting up in time and bless the children in the coming months.

Prayer Request:

·     Continue to pray for all our dear ones, family and friends who are hospitalized due to Covid. Pray for their healing, speedy recovery and financial needs.

·       Pray for our ministry activities that the Lord would help us to bless others in the time of need.

·       Pray for Little Transformers Club activities and building construction that it will complete in time and open door for the children to be blessed.

Pray and Support Us!

Pray for wisdom and strength for both of us; helping us to envision the journey and walk boldly towards it.

Thank you so much for joining us in praying for our mission journey. Please do comment and send us your response. It will encourage us greatly.

With love,

Hanni & Jeba
