Milestone - Birth of Leap High Foundation

“We are not losing hope, He is enough. We will be trying again this month, to register, keep us in prayers” was our prayer in the last month (blog). And the answer to the prayer is right here “LEAP HIGH FOUNDATION” is successfully registered without any issues this month. Each step was unbelievable and the Lord guided us rightly through a Christian auditor and thus we could reach the first milestone of our mission journey.

Jesus yet again proved that “nothing is impossible for our heavenly father or no barrier confuses God or poses any kind of challenge for Him”.

Thank you Jesus!

Villages in India are closing their gates for the power of the Gospel. It is difficult for us to help the villagers or the children to understand that Jesus is the true and living God. For them, a god is in a picture or a statue placed in the temple. They believe that god is far from them and they need to do everything they can (sacrifice, pujas, rituals and animal sacrifices) to appease the deity to bless them.

This registration will help us to initiate new ideas to reach out the children with the power of the Gospel. After two years of our ground research, we were able to understand that only through proper education or through consistent mentoring this generation can be reached.

A Real Story that changed our lives:

Recently, Jeba met one of her old VBS (Vacation Bible School) student from the village. She took VBS for him years ago. During his childhood, every year he regularly attended VBS and was very active during the classes. As we started speaking to him, we realized he is now a drug addict and dropped his studies before his 10th grade. He said growing up he had no-one to guide, listen or understand him. He now roams with his friends and fights with people in the village.
We both broke down after listening to the boy and we understood how important it is to walk along with these young kids to guide, mentor and help them to see Jesus. Now, his sisters are part of our Sunday school and English coaching classes in the village.

We were able to understand that Illiteracy, religious superstition, lack of quality education, medical help and public transportation keep these villages from developing. There is a huge temple in the center of the village.
The villagers believe only through animal sacrifices, witch-craft and performing highly expensive pujas (rituals) is the only way they can solve all their lives problems. Most of the villagers are daily wagers and they struggle to provide for their family especially children.

Hence, we are praying to start a daily project in this village. The project will cater to the needs of the children like quality educational assistance, career guidance, medical care and spiritual mentorship. We are praying that this project would be named as “Little Transformers”.

Regular Ministries and Volunteer projects:

Sunday School Ministry: We restarted our Sunday School ministry with over 60 children in two villages. Every week we visit them and teach them children songs, Bible/Missionary Stories and pray with them.

English Classes: We started a English coaching class in a rural village where the majority of the children study in government school which lacks quality education. The children are divided in two groups and are been taught English (Reading, Speaking and listening).

Pray for Us

Pray for us, as these efforts in the mission field would not go in vain.

Pray that the Lord would help us to set-up all the administrative needs of the ministry.

Pray for our Little Transformers project; pray that it would start by October 2019.

Please pray for physical and financial resources for these projects.
