Gift of Life
Through
this blog, we want all of you to know how thankful we are for God’s faithfulness,
protection and blessing during this unprecedented pandemic. He kept us safe, provided
all our needs and helped us endure through these darkest hours. Even yesterday,
we lost one of our relative (Jeba’s Uncle) due to Covid-19. It was tough for
both of us but God is our comfort. Though there is sadness and suffering
around, we still thank the Lord for the “Gift of life”.
Recently,
as I was reading the Bible, God was powerfully speaking to me from the Book of
Exodus. The story of Israelite's: God was with them; while they were oppressed
with forced labor; God was with them while the midwives were ordered by the
king to kill all the male babies in birth.
Before
they were led out of Egypt, they witnessed one of powerful move of God where
His hand protected them through the plagues. Over and Over again the people of
God encountered God’s faithfulness and they walked through the parted Red Sea
without fear. As I journeyed with them through the exodus, I literally got
goose bumps in realizing how powerful God is throughout their darkest time. Only
thing is the people failed to see the miraculous hand of God in their suffering
and chaos.
I
strongly believe the history is repeating itself, where we are presently passing
through suffering and plague. It is important, we continue to hold onto the promises
of God and realize the miracles we experience everyday in our journey. We thank
the Lord every single day for He is helping us to stand still and help others
during these tough times.
Mission
Update: We are continuing to help children and their families in whatever ways we
can. We are still continuing English classes at our home. Presently, we have
over 15 children divided into three class sessions. We were able counsel and guide
two teenagers to select their interested field of study. One of them joined B.Sc computer science and other joined B.Com. We ask of your prayers for these two teen girls (Ramya and Sandhya), as they could study well and successfully complete their
college education.
LITTLE
TRANSFORMERS CLUB: We
are only able to visit our children once a week, as our government is yet to
give permission to gather children in the project. Meanwhile, after months of
construction being stopped of our project building, recently we could restart
and complete plastering work. Still we need to finish flooring, electrical work,
plumbing work, fixing windows and door. Keep us in prayers as we needs funds to
complete the construction.
After
LTC logo, we were also able to complete the animation video for Little
Transformers Club.
Thank
you all for praying for this project, we believe God will help us to
complete the project construction and setting up in time and bless the children
in the coming months.
Prayer
Request:
As
our Country and State is reopening all the public spaces and transportation without
proper precautionary steps, there is a possibility of wild spread of the
pandemic. Pray for the people that they may understand the need of protecting
themselves by following all the steps given by the government.
Pray
for our ministry activities that the Lord would help us to bless others in the
time of need.
Pray
for Little Transformers Club activities
and building construction, that it will complete in time and open door for the
children to be blessed.
Pray and
Support Us!
Pray
for wisdom and strength for both of us; helping us to envision the journey and
walk boldly towards it.
Thank you so
much for joining us in praying for our mission journey. Please do comment and
send us your response. It will encourage us greatly.
With
