Lighter Moments with our Kids Life is challenging, like sailing on a stormy sea. The month of June turned out to be overwhelming, exhausting, rushed and stressed but the Lord helped us to sail through and reach the other shore with a smile. We both realized we are not in control and allowed the Lord to work through us. It is human to look our problems and take our eyes off the Lord. However, it was a time of realizing “nothing is impossible for our heavenly father or no barrier confuses God or poses any kind of challenge for Him” . We were planning to register our ministry with the government; so that we could freely work with the children and minister to them. However, when we approached the government we faced many obstacles and barriers; like they need bribe and services charges during every step of registration. God is good all the time and he taught to believe beyond (future) the obvious (What we presently experience or see). He is been walking along with us and helping us through various godly individuals to look through the ministry with new ideas and inspirations.  There are many ways to generate new inputs but we are learning to ask the right kinds of questions to the right (godly) individuals that can lead us to a real discovery and understanding in mission. For both of us, the month of May was a time of great exposure and learning; participating in Children Camps, Retreats and organizing various events for children during this vacations in southern India. In the month of April, God is teaching us something unique and powerful. He is asking us to form a team to work together for the vision; the only criteria is “our hearts are being knitted together as one in unity, love and service” that will help us to walk the journey together. We kindly ask each one of you to lead us in support of prayer and blessings; we believe the Lord will bring the right people at the right time. Month of reaching out youths and children: Month of April is a month of Exams, Vacations and Outreach Events. All the churches and mission organizations organize programs for children and youths during this month. Pre-Exam Counselling Sessions: Major problems every single students (Urban and Rural) face during exams is Stress. It affects largely students from rural background because very less counselling sessions is organized for these children. Month of March for us was exciting; loads of preparation and new path opened in our mission journey. Thank you all of you for standing with us in prayers; God is showing us the right path to move forward in our ministry. Life changing Moment: We are in a School teaching social awareness to children on Abuse We met a girl who just recently completed her twelfth standard; she scored 92% in her board exams. She was a medical aspirant, but now she is working as a daily wager in a factory. Her parents and siblings are struggling to make the family ends meet. She could not pursue her dream because of three reasons – Poverty, NEET and English Language. As we spoke to her about it, we were able to understand it is mainly because of NEET ( An exam that everyone has to appear to be eligible for Medical seats, conducted by central government and that varies from state board educational syllabus). Happy Children @ the Retreat It has been an amazing month for us; we reaped in 100’s of fold in blessings. Thank you all of you for your amazing support and prayers; the children retreat was a great success. Youth Gathering Month of January turned out to be a month of praying, reviewing (both for personal and ministry) , preparing, planning, regrouping, serving and meeting for the way we should go about this year. We realized when you fall in love with something, you don’t feel it like a work rather you it becomes a driving force within. When we follow our heart (with God in it) , things happen automatically and we tend to produce the best (our thoughts, vision & mission). On the other hand, following your heart will help you to work natural and exciting to do. We can feel the energy flowing within and if someone motivates us it becomes an added bonus for us.   Thank you all for being our extra bonus.
